The NACM Door is ALWAYS Open
A note from Jon Flora, President & CEO
A few weeks ago, I had a call from a former member. She wanted to know if she could come back to NACM. In a cost-cutting move, her company had decided to go with cheaper credit reports and fewer other services. There was a serious tone of regret in her voice. She had called New Provider X’s toll-free number seeking help. She was greeted by a “Dial 1 for this, dial 2 for that, etc” and never received the assistance she wanted. Moreover, the cheaper reports were woefully inadequate for their needs.
In short order, we got her fixed up and welcomed back into the NACM family. She’s happy and re-armed with the tools she needs to do her job well.
Every once in a while, a member leaves us or decides to take part of their business elsewhere. It might be because of merger, a new person making decisions or a cost cutting directive. Whatever the reason, losing a member or customer is no fun for us. Ad, it’s often very difficult for the customer.
We are proud of what we do. When you have a problem, our sales reps or Customer Experience Representatives are here for you. Whether you’re buying Experian, Dun & Bradstreet, Equifax, or our Collections Services, we’re here for you. If you’re a data contributor or a member of our Industry Trade Groups, you will get a timely response.
Making a good risk decision means using the right tools, not just the cheapest. If you’re ever given the directive to cut the budget, talk to us first. We’re all for saving money but making a change is expensive and time consuming. We can advise you on a good course of action so mistakes can be avoided.
And, if your company made the decision to leave and is now having second thoughts, we are just a phone call away. NACM Business Credit Services stands ready to serve you just as we have since 1899. Thanks for being part of the NACM family. We wish you a joyous holiday season and prosperous New Year.
Cordially,
