About the Speakers
Michael Beck, Keynote*
Business Strategist and Leadership Coach
Exceptional Leadership Elicits Excellence.
And exceptional leadership relies on our ability to influence and positively impact the people around us. I’m passionate about helping leaders become more effective and companies achieve greater success.
For most of my life I’ve had an interest in leadership and performance improvement. I’ve been a leader at every level of an organization from manager to C-level. I typically
accomplish more in a day than most people accomplish in two. I’ve earned a black belt in self-defense, ranked 118th in the world in a rowing (ergometer) competition, and climbed several “Fourteener’s” (14,000 ft. high mountains).
As an advisor, executive coach and strategist to leaders looking to improve leadership, business performance and productivity within their organization, I work with senior executives, up & coming leaders, and business owners in companies large and small.
The second unique talent of mine is that I tend to see things from a different perspective than most. This allows me to “see” things others miss (blind spots) and to offer alternate, more insightful perspectives. This, of course, allows us to accelerate our progress even faster.
My credentials include an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business along with degrees in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. I have held a variety of executive positions including CFO, COO, and EVP. Additionally, I worked several years overseas as a Business Advisor to a member of the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia.
