We are hiring for a Credit Specialist to join the Credit and Accounting team. The Credit Specialist is responsible for responding to account maintenance questions, new account set-up, and distribute copies of invoices, statements, and POD’s as requested. The Credit Specialist will file job sheets, pre-lien notices, credit references, run credit card payments and monitor release orders on hold in addition to participating in ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:
Respond to customers in a timely and courteous manner to resolve credit issues, inquiries and collections.
Provide customers with invoices, statements, and POD’s as requested.
Monitor and release orders from hold status. Review orders on backorder for release or payment, present job sheets for pre-lien notifications.
Process expense statements, deliver items to the post office 3 times a week.

Qualifications:
Three years of experience working as a credit specialist in a call center environment. Knowledge of accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures.
Exceptional customer service experience.
Prior collections experience.

Education Requirement Level (Preferred):
Associate’s Degree
