Position Overview

Lynden Incorporated is seeking someone who is highly organized and detail oriented to support our dynamic Credit & Collections team! You will process credit applications, perform credit reviews, maintain customer accounts, and support the team through reporting and other processes. This is a non-safety sensitive position.

The Credit & Collections Team:

This team operates in a shared services environment handling accounts across 20 Lynden Companies, collaborating across departments, as well as with customers. Our team works closely with Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Sales, and Controllers to ensure a positive experience for our customers.

We encourage you to apply and bring your expertise to:

• Ensure timely processing of credit applications, recommending and setting the credit line.
• Utilize Dun & Bradstreet reports, other credit reports, and reviewing references to establish customer lines of credit.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts within various billing systems.
• Maintain global and subsidiary credit limits.
• Interface with third-party credit services, including data validation, scorecard optimization, customer investigations, product training, reporting, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Respond to incoming customer and sales inquiries concerning credit status.
• Prepare various aging reports.
• Hand monthly dunning letters.

What we need from you:

• At least 2 years of credit & collections experience.
• AA degree from two-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

What would be nice for you to have:

• Experience with financial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Workday preferred.
• Previous transportation or logistics experience.
• Working as part of a shared service team.
