We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team within our Credit Department in Seattle, Washington!

  • Accept and process credit card payments, enter Reseller Permits, update the system to reflect changes provided by customer, including address, phone, contact info, email addresses, authorized purchaser lists, etc.

  • Provide excellent customer service by working with customers, Accounting and other departments to resolve accounts receivable issues in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and process daily bank deposits,

  • Maintain Accounts Receivable, customer files, Reseller Permits and daily filing.

  • May perform some general ledger reconciliations.

  • Reconcile to customer aging and utilize AR system to research and resolve issues.

  • Job account set up, including all preliminary research for job site address, confirming validity of General Contractor or builder and sending info to Levelset to maintain lien rights.

  • Processing credit applications using accepted guidelines and processes.

  • Setting up cash customers using accepted guidelines.

  • Cash Application (applying accounts receivable payments) per customer remits.

  • Other duties as required


  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associates Degree or related certification desired.

  • Minimum two years experience in accounts receivable position.

  • Familiarity with standard accounting procedures.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook required. P21 experience desired.

  • Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Analytical ability and high level of attention to detail.

  • Effective organization and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to understand and follow established procedures.

  • Ability to remain calm while multitasking in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism in dealings with customers and coworkers.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, both in person and by phone.

  • Ability to proactively identify issues and present options for solutions.

  • Ability to effectively work as a part of a team.

  • Wholesale / construction industry experience desired.

  • Must be able to concentrate, listen and focus for 8 hours a day.

  • Must have regular and predictable attendance. Monday to Friday, Business hours.
